This feels oddly like fan fiction. Jeeves is not himself and without Bertie to chronical the tale the whole enterprise feels tone deaf. Jeeves quotes every semi-clever thing ever written and is constantly raising an eyebrow to show emotion as we are reminded endlessly. The rest of the cast are enjoyable though the idea of The Great White Hunter was dated then and laughable now. This is also a stage to novel adaptation which means it is fairly stagnant and has too much crosstalk as comedy.
