Fun read aloud even for 4th grade. Giesel Honor 2014.
A Big Guy Took My Ball! by Mo Willems – I got to be Gerald. My son got to be Piggie. We loved every minute. When a new character jumped into the dialogue, my son suggested we read that portion together. How I adore Elephant and Piggie Books. Never will tire of them. This book shares such a simple perfect example of perspectives and judgements being different… LOVED.
November 2019 - Ben can sight read or sound out most of the words, but it's a touch on the long side for him. I usually take one character to read, and he reads the other, which makes it perfect.

Mo Willems is just brilliant. I have loved every book I've ever read by him. This is such a great introduction to the ideas of sharing and acceptance, plus it's just plain fun!
