In this almost wordless picture book, that looks like a graphic novel for beginners, we meet our dog friend who clearly loves his ball! Lucky for him, his person BFF loves playing ball too, except for when she has to go to school. Dog tries to get everyone left in the house to play ball with him, but to no avail. After one scary ball dream (best part is when the ball goes down the maze of the toilet pipes), Dog wakes up just in time for his person to come home from school.

Essentially wordless, this book uses expressions and body language to convey exactly how the dog is feeling about the ball, his surroundings and everything else at the moment. Maybe more appealing to people who like dogs, but still pretty great.

only word is Ball. Kinda comic book style. entertaining. Children could practice telling the story.
