Sorry this won't be much of a review. I computer's down and I'm working on someone else's.
This was an enjoyable read. Very well written and original. The characters were well fleshed and the plot lines were rather seamless. The only complaint I might be able to make is that perhaps the book moved a little slow. But this is not unusual in a fantasy series. Just look at the last few volumes of Jordan's Wheel of Time series if you want to see books that go nowhere.
