This book is off the hook! Jensen makes us FEEL so much in this story— for Lara, for Aren, Keris… the list keeps going. Lara returns to save Aren from her father after the fallout of her betrayal in book 1 and it’s some serious DEVASTATION people. The people of Ithicana run her into the ground for what she’s done, not saying I blame them, but we really feel what she feels 🥹

This book was perfect. I’m still trying to gather my thoughts while typing this because I literally just finished listening to The Traitor Queen few minutes ago. Danielle L. Jensen wrote this epic of a book to make you feel all kinds of emotions that you didn’t know you can feel in a book. You know that kind of pain that felt like your heart is being crushed? As to be expected of Danielle L. Jensen's books, I'm at a lost for words to say. The Traitor Queen was simply spectacular. I can say, with absolute certainty, that The Bridge Kingdom series is one I'll read again and again.
