This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers. To view it, click here. I am writing this with utter disappointment and dismay. The end was so heart-wrenchingly wrong! It was as if all the suffering throughout the book, wasn’t enough. Tristan and Cecile needed to pay (or suffer) more. Spoiler alert - Tristan is sent to an immortal life, away from Cecile. Hell, Angouleme should have won with this end: Trolls forced from mortal land, never to return. Tristan forced to watch Cecile from afar. Cecile forced to live through live with child alone.
