I stayed up until 3 am just to finish reading this book because once I really got into it, there was no putting it down.

WHOA. My heart, my poor, sad, little heart. I honestly did not know that it would be crushed into so many tiny little pieces by this book, but here I am trying to find them all to put back together because my heart wasn't just crushed, it was obliterated!!! My mind is still trying to comprehend all that I just read!!! I don't want this trilogy t And that ladies and gentlemen is what you call an ending!!! Full RTC. I loveeeed this trilogy sooo much!

My mind is still trying to comprehend all that I just read!!! I don't want this trilogy to be over, but if it had to end, then this is the best ending I could possibly imagine. (what, just because it was sad, doesn't mean it couldn't also be so heartwarmingly good!)

Finally finally finally Tristan and Cecile are back together. And they are ready to tag team the world and take on whatever might become of it now that the Trolls are free. But the only problem with this is, its not just the Trolls who have come out of hiding, but Fairies are taking their chances and looking to put their hand in the cookie jar as well.. The Fairies are up to something and Tristan & Cecile better find out quickly because there is one Troll in particular who they do not want out for long... Roland. With a full scale war on their hands and coming from all angles at that, how could they possibly win? And at what cost?

I have to say how much I love the way that Danielle Jensen writes. It just flows so effortlessly, its like thinking. I felt like I was there among these characters, trolls and humans alike. I wanted to join in on the fight and take down anyone who dare try to hurt my sweet character babies!!!

Tristan and Cecile are one of my FAVORITE couples ever. I love them so much. I am like the weird voyeur that wants nothing but for them to be together and happy and to have a million little babies and to live happily ever after. Their love for each other wasn't forced, or cheesy, or awkward in any way. It just worked. They had so much love for each other, and support, and faith in each other's beliefs. They didn't keep each other from ever becoming their full potential, in fact quite the opposite. They brought each other up and fought for each other. I cannot even put it down into words the way I want, so just trust me on this one. They. Are. Perfect.

I didnt want this to end at all. I kept looking at how much I had left to read and as it got smaller I got sadder thinking of the fact that it did have to come to an end eventually. BUT I DIDNT WANT IT TO!!! But that ending. I can't stress enough as to how perfect that ending was. There are so many times I finish a book and think that so much more could have been wrapped up. So much more is left hanging. But not this book. There are no loose strings, no unanswered questions. Everything that should happen, does. And it happens as it should. THIS IS HOW TO WRITE AN ENDING PEOPLE!!!

All in all, I am so so happy I read these. They will be highlighted on my favorites shelf and reread so many times that I will eventually become a honorary Troll myself. I might just change my name to Cecile and join an opera house while I'm at it, maybe then I can find me a Tristan of my very own!!

I definitely recommend these to anyone who is ready for an adventure under the mountain and beyond :)

I'm incredibly sad to see this wonderful series come to an end. While I had my ups and downs with this book, I still felt that overall this was a satisfying conclusion to the Malediction Trilogy. Was it everything I hope for? Not really. But, Danielle Jensen still delivered a great story that will appease many fans of the series. I was actually surprised to see so many low-star reviews because even though this wasn't a Review to come!

I was actually surprised to see so many low-star reviews because even though this wasn't as good as the previous books, it was still a great book! I don't want to discourage any fan from reading this novel because this truly was a gorgeously written story.

I honestly didn't want to reach the end because I knew that once I did, Tristan and Cecile's story would be over forever. And when I did reach the last couple of chapters, I was borderline a mess and my emotions were going crazy. Overall, the story came together in nicely, with plenty of twists and turns that you won't see coming. The were many scenes that had me on the edge of my seat because I wasn't sure what was going to happen. I was preparing for the worst sometimes as there were many times I was unsure if everyone would make it out alive. I did like the use of alternating POVs, and I think it made the book stronger. I liked being able to read from Tristan's perspective and see just how his mind worked as it is markedly different from Cecile, but the same in so many ways. It just goes to show how well matched they are for each other.

As I have hinted at, there were several things that didn't make this the epic conclusion that it could/should have been. I honestly didn't like the fact that Cecile and Tristan spent the majority of this book apart...again. I thought that after the events in Hidden Huntress, Tristan and Cecile would join together and work as a team toward the common goal of defeating the enemy. But this was more or less Tristan and Cecile doing their own individual thing and somehow, things magically came together. Cecile did drive me a little crazy in this one purely because I thought she made some very stupid (even borderline stupid) decisions. Yes, Cecile did blame herself frequently if something didn't turn out the way she expected, but I didn't feel that much sympathy for her when even I could have told you Cecile's choice was going to end in disaster. Additionally, some scenes felt incredibly rushed and a bit disorganized. For the most part though, the story flowed very well, so this problem was relatively minor in relation to the entire story. But, some scenes just didn't have that same effortless flow that occurred in the previous novels, and this was especially prevalent toward the end of the book.

Regardless of these problems, I did enjoy the story overall, and I am incredibly sad that this series is over. While I wasn't entirely happy with the direction the ending took, I admire Danielle Jensen for taking a risk and ending the story in the way she thought was best. As readers, we have to remember that not every story has the happy ending we wish, but sometimes things do work out in the end...even if it's not in the way we would expect. I would recommend checking this out if you are a fan of the series. It might be a hit or a miss for fans but it is still worth reading!!

This book was the weakest in the trilogy. I see from other reviews that more people think like I do. But I loved this world and its characters so it deserves 5 stars.

I'm looking forward to anything Danielle Jensen will write :)

Wooww so wow!

This book is really really impressive! everything is impressive, even the pain... that particular pain in the particular pages very close to the end of everything.... OMG it's kinda crazy to know that they actually survive that kind of pain. Very very well done to both Cecile and Tristan. Fortunately, they get the ending they truly deserve. It was like quenching my thirst. The relieve ... very overwhelming!

Ok. I am a very emotional person -- I admit it. That being said, I hardly ever cry while reading books. I have cried a grand total of three times while reading, and this book was the third. I cried so much at the end.

As a great man once said: "Everything will be good in the end, if it is not good it is not the end." And oh is that true about this book! I have never read such a beautiful, perfect, tragic, and joyful ending. Ms. Jensen has outdone herself. This is one of the best fantasy series I ...more

Denne bog har jeg glædet mig til så længe. Jeg elskede Stolen Songbird. En virkelig fantastisk historie! Danielle L. Jensen kan virkelig skrive. Hidden Huntress var også rigtig god, dog ikke lige så god som den første. Jeg var så spændt på, hvordan Warrior Witch var. Jeg har nærmest ingen ord. Først vil jeg dog lige kommentere de tre titler. Jeg synes det er så fedt, at de har beholdt samme stil, med to ord og samme forbogstav. Det er så fedt!
