What the fuck is it with me and trolls?!?
The world building, the unique plot, the antihero love interest just all hooked me right away and made me want to dive deeper into this world.
Cecile was an interesting perspective- not a Mary-Sue sissy but also not exactly Xena the warrior princess.
I liked her POV as the weak human trying to trick the powerful trolls...but tbh finishing the book, nothing about her character stuck out at me as being unique to only her

I think instead of vampires and werewolves my new mythical bf will have to be trolls. This was an unexpected favorite, a heroine that while not a warrior was a fighter and a hero that was a dreamer though taught to be cruel. I loved every second of beauty and the beast vibe and I cannot wait to read the next installment.

I LOVE IT. This is my second Troll-rel book series, first is Switched which is one of my faves! Aaaaaaaaah what is it with Troll books that makes it all soooo gooooood?!
Cecile, my champion! I have high hopes for this girl. I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE HOW THIS STORY GOES. And oh my, Tristan! I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHERE TO START WITH THIS MAN! The development between these two is just perfect which made the story all worthwhile! The ending is a major cliffhanger, though! Off to the next! ;) ...more
