I have researched the Habsurgs and their infamous lip :p so I had a bit of an idea what was going to happen in this book.
I listened to this one and I was really drawn into it. It's fascinating to hear about a commoner's life in early 1600's Hungry. Lafferty did do a very good job painting you a picture and you could really connect with the characters. I liked the war between religion and science.
