[close] Wow. I am so glad I stumbled on this book. It is a wonderful, Biblically sound story of what it would have been like if Jesus came to us in modern day America. Eli Shepherd is Jesus, but in a parallel world. The main character, an adult named Conrad Davis, is somehow transported to that world after a nearly deadly car accident. He becomes one of Eli's followers. I love how the author has followed the life of Jesus and incorporated all the key elements of His life, ministry, teachings, and miracles. Also the betrayal, death, and resurrection of the Messiah. This is a must read for Christians as well as those who are seeking to know more about who Jesus is. Don't let this be it though. Read the Scriptures too! :)
