“Even in the Future the Story Begins with Once Upon a Time.”

This.Was.Awesome.

This book was great! I was completely addicted while reading this, I finished it in less than two days. It was serioulsy good.

This book is a dystopian retelling of the fairytale Cinderella, but in this case, our Cinder is a cyborg. A freaking cyborg. Talk about new and exciting.

I was so in the mood for a book like this and I ended it up reading it really fast non-stop throughout the weekend. It is such a fast paced book

Queen Lavana I hate your guts to pieces! However I am glad I gave this book a third chance because I actually understood it this time and loved the cyborg aspect of it! I have never read a cyborg book until this one and it was absolutely amazing. The story was super easy to follow and had a wonderful plot to it. It definitely kept me on the edge of my seat the entire book!

This was my first ever fairytale retelling. At first, I thought that it your classic Cinderella story but Cinderella is in cyborg form, but it is not. It is soooo much more than that! That was such a great read and I definitely didn't regret picking this book up.

Marissa Meyer is a remarkable author. She created this fantastic world filled with androids, cyborgs, and let's not forget about Lunars as well. What I enjoyed most about this book was not only the plot but the world-building. The world

**To get more background, character development and world building read the prequel Glitches!**

Cinder is a marvelous take of the classic fairy-tale Cinderella. Marissa Meyer has taken a classic and added a twist with a dose of dystopian, sci-fi, cyborgs and secrets. Not sure what took me so long in starting this series, but I'm glad I have.

Cinder follows young Cinder and her journey as a cyborg living in New Beijing during the plague under the care of her cold hearted stepmother Adri. Along with

I've never read any retellings of fairytales before (other than the original Grim Brother's versions) and so I was excited to read Cinder, which is a futuristic twist on the story Cinderella. Now, it is important to note that I was never a huge fan of Cinderella in the first place, and so I was hesitant to pick this book up. Needless to say, the rave on youtube about Marissa Meyer's Lunar Chronicles lived up to every enthusiastic review I have seen/read. For the majority of the story, I didn't e ...more

5 Stars!!

This book was amazing. I would give it ten stars if it were an option. I love the premise of the story. Its also a very different retailing of Cinderella than any other I have encounter. I the world building lack just slightly in this book. However, I believe that this was done on purpose has to have the reader uncovering the mystery along with Cinder. I loved the character building I contacted with several of the characters. I would love to learn more about Luna and why it is the way i
