I really enjoyed this book!! The main character, Celaena Sardothien, Adarlan's Assassin is a kickass heroine. At first she comes off as arrogant and selfish but then she opens up. I really liked her as a character. She speaks her mind, she has tons of energy and is determined.

Loved the writing style and the characters.
I am not a big fantasy person so I didn't enjoy it as much as people who love high fantasy would. Which is probably why it took me so long to finish it. I feel like I enjoy it but not as much as other genres. However, this book was pretty good and I will continue on with the series. ...more
