okay I read this book in 2016 and so I'm not gonna lie some of the details are a little fuzzy because nothing really left a lasting impression on me
I literally ?? Was wondering while reading this if I was reading some cheap knock off of Throne of Glass with the same title because y'all honestly must have read a different book to me. For me personally there was literally nothing in this book that stood out to me as unique, compelling or interesting

This book was amazing! I loved the story, the characters, the world, and just everything about it. This was such a great set-up for the rest of the series and i'm super excited to see how it continues!

Loved the writing style and the characters.
I am not a big fantasy person so I didn't enjoy it as much as people who love high fantasy would. Which is probably why it took me so long to finish it. I feel like I enjoy it but not as much as other genres. However, this book was pretty good and I will continue on with the series. ...more
