I had extremely high expectations for this book after hearing so many good things about it, so I think that definitely had a big impact on the rating I gave this.
The first problem i found was that the chapters weren't set out properly and would sort of just switch perspectives and change locations without any warning which was confusing for a while until you realized that it had changed, which then meant i had to go back and re-read it.

This book turn out one of my fav.

This is the story of Cara, a intelligent and fierce valedictorian of Midtown High School. She's been chosen to host a particular student, a L'heir. Yeah, aliens are here! Among us.
This book talks about friendship and love, war, prejudices and intolerance. Not that good about resuming plots, but this book is very very good. I liked all the characters and I really loved seeing how they grow up and how they fall for each other.

This book is AMAZING! it's honestly perfection on paper, it's so beautiful and written perfectly! I loved it! This book is... pretty boring. The concept is interesting and is really what carried this entire book. The characters are all somewhat bland and feel very one-dimensional. And I think it's a very cliché, simple love story between a human and an extraterrestrial. Nothing too bold, but interesting enough, I guess.

If you like love stories and sci-fi, then I think you'd enjoy this book to its extent.
