What Members Thought
Ready Player One is genuinely a great story. Cline has a well-conceived story and creates wonderfully drawn images of the settings and action with his words. This book felt like a cross between the movie National Treasure and the Martian with incredible use of 80's pop culture. Sci fi is not my preferred genre but it still carried the day with me. I vacillated between 4 and 5 stars and chose the higher rating based on the anticipation that built and reached a crescendo with the ending. Bonus poi
