What Members Thought
I enjoyed this book. The imagery, articulation, storyline were all very well done. Hill is definitely a force to be reckoned with for years to come and this was definitely a break-out novel (if Heart Shaped Box wasn't). However, the ending felt forced and rushed. Hill spent so long building up to a climactic conclusion that it was a let down that felt sawed off and wrapped up in a mere 100 pages or so. I am looking forward to more from Hill and will definitely read him again, but hope not to be

NOS4A2 is a spine-tingling novel of supernatural suspense. This is not a genre I would ever normally read.....and I loved it. Yowsa! Does Joe Hill know how to write! I guess, this isn't surprising considering who his father is. Keep in mind with my rating that this isn't normally my genre so I don't have a lot to compare it to but, I thought it was superb.
