What Members Thought
Wow! What can I say?! I was totally blown away by this book and how Walls can shoot out memoir writing with such gusto. Walls weaves such great yarn its easy to see the need that the characters have to be together and fight out the down-on-my-luck blues that follow this family like the plague. Walls gives the reader up-close real life commentary. Its amazing how far from the abject poverty that the author grew up around.
