I'm giving this book 2 stars because I enjoyed some of the stories, others not so much. I heard that the stories will make sense and fit together once I got to near the end, I think I missed it. I did listen to the audio and maybe some of it was lost in translation for me. I have not seen the movie, but I think I will and hopefully this book will make more sense and maybe I should re-read the book after watching the movie and this time read it instead of listening to it. How rich can a book be? This sextet of interlocking stories is unique in structure and full of literary and musical references.
