Let me start off by saying that The Mortal Instruments series is one of my all time favorite series. It is just absolutely fantastic!
Okay, City of Bones time. When I first started reading this book, it instantly drew me in and had me strapped in for this fantastic journey. The setting is in modern day New York City (which I loved). I am not going to write all about the plot because all the description is on here. But I will say...IT IS NOT A VAMPIRE BOOK. This book I loved every second I read it, it was amazing and I was so glad that I never had to wait for the next books.
Cassandra Clare is amazing writing these books :) I loved that it wasn't just about vampires but of Shadowhunters. I liked the change.
It's was an amazing book and I would recommend it back to everyone that likes supernatural kinds of books

Everyone knows about this book, and if you don't, wtf man!? GO READ IT.
After a second reading, I'm giving 4 stars, instead of 5. I've read so many series, I'm a sucker for them, and I have to admit that this book didn't give me feels like some others. It is still AWESOME but, yeah, I don't know.
Still a fabulous world, and Jace is still yummy. ...more

When I started to read this book, I knew it was going to be a great book but I didn't think that it was going to become my favourite book! I fell in love with many characters, Jace, Clary, Simon, Alec... I love them! I loved the story too, is so original and beautiful. All I can say about this book is that it was the best book I have read! I definitely loved it! :)
