The Life of King Henry V

This is a pretty good history play about King Henry V who invaded France around 1414-1415. The purpose of the invasion was ostensibly to conquer the country for England, but if he was successful it would prove to his subjects that God was on his side, supposedly. The outcome was that the King of France gave his beautiful daughter, Catherine, to Henry to wife, and thereby re-establishing the connection between the two countries which had previously ex
