What an incredibly moving tribute to women. I was excited to read this book, and then the Alabama abortion law happened, and it became even more politically relevant. It felt slightly repetitive, but I think the number of narratives was necessary to show just how many women were involved and continue to be impacted. The book also took me awhile to get through because of the heavy nature of the material. As a relatively new mother (I have a 2 year old son), this was often an overwhelmingly emotio ...more
