I knew almost nothing about Ted Bundy when I picked up this book, other than he was a serial killer who had lived (and killed) in Utah, where I live. Ann Rule is right - the cosmos handed her the perspective of a lifetime when her friend and coworker turned out to be the serial killer the nation was hunting. Not to mention she'd already signed a contract to write the book BEFORE Bundy was the known suspect.

Let me start off by saying - if you want a book that keeps you on the edge of your seat and that causes you the occasional nightmare - this is the book for you. Ann Rule writes about her personal experiences with the infamous killer of young women, Ted Bundy! Everything in this book was very interesting; however, a lot of the facts were either left out, or it seemed that the stories were scrambled. I understand Ann Rule's writing style is more on the criminal side and less on the fictional side,
