What Members Thought
I really enjoyed the story of Nellie & Elizabeth's adventures! There were lots of tangents and side notes about historical events or figures, and at times they grew really irritating, but overall I didn't mind the the voice of the book. It was very informative, interesting and rewarding. I also really liked that the author included information about the women's lives after the race was over. The way their lives turned out were extremely reflective of the way they handled the globe-girdling race.
