What Members Thought
I thoroughly enjoyed Orphan Train. My favorite takeaway is the idea of fate, and all the strange "what-ifs" that could have changed our lives. I also enjoyed the clever way in which it was presented that the hardships that the Orphan Train orphans experienced are still found in the modern foster care system.
The last 50 pages were an emotional rollercoaster! They covered so much material that afterwards, the rest of the book felt slow by comparison. It didn't feel that way whlie I was reading it ...more
