Stargirl is so beautifully written. A poetic telling of a girl who isn't afraid to be herself, even though "they" alternately adore and despise her for her originality. Her story will make you look inside yourself and ponder who you truly are, how you have let others shape you, and how you have shaped others.

One of the best books I've read in years. I could go on and on but this is a classic for teenagers and adults alike. It made me think, laugh and cry. Do yourself a favor and read this as soon as you can!

A profoundly different teen appears at high school and creates a rippling effect. The extreme nature of the book prevented me from being able to relate but it was fun to read.
Loved. Sweet book about living life to be a benefit to others regardless what others think.
