I loved learning about the forgotten language of flowers. Their meanings were interwoven into an insightful story about a foster girl who was aging out of the foster care system. The insight into that experience was a worthwhile read on its own. The problems Victoria encountered and the way she handled them were realistic and brought attention to the challenges many foster children face.

I really enjoyed the book. Working as a social worker, I enjoyed the book from the perspective of the abandoned child/woman. Loved the communication with flowers and the education of the meaning of each type. Lovely book.

I loved it. Unique, refreshing, and true to life. The end was a bit anti-climatic for my taste, but not enough to ruin the book for me. I would recommend it to book lovers and light readers alike, and will probably consult it every time I order flowers from now on =) It was the perfect book to get me through a weekend winter storm.
