This book illustrates the laugh out loud antics of a girl named Zippy, growing up in a very small town in Indiana, in the 60's and 70's. I listened to this book while driving, enjoying the author's voice as she lived in to her dialogues as if she were still a small child. Especially moving are her thoughts on faith, the value of simplicity in learning to live imaginatively and her relationship with her father. The writing is exquisite.
