After all these years, I finally read The Book Thief! Set during WWII Germany, this character driven novel tackles themes of hope, love, loss, friendship, death, family and courage. "Death" is the "narrator" of this tale, while books and words are the thread of life, meaning and purpose. One of my top 3 books of this year so far!!! ...more
