Our Book Club After Dark really enjoyed this title. So much so that they wanted to get the titles that came before it to begin the series properly! We enjoyed Bowen's growth throughout the novel and his acknowledgement that he needed to change to suit Mariketa, not the other way around (especially in regards to her magic). Mariketa was applauded for being honest to herself & Bowen, as well as kicking some serious ass! Overall, our Book Club very much enjoyed this book and we've gotten hooked on
