3 1/2 stars. This is a moving book about the wolves of Yellowstone. Their reintroduction in the 90s revitalized the entire Yellowstone ecosystem from plants to birds, but also sparked great controversy and legal battles. It took me a little while to get into this book as it follows a lot of individual wolves, as well as the researchers who follow them and the hunters who want them as trophies.
