I was worried at first that this would be a travesty of overdone vampire-centric romance. Now, I must say I'm pleasantly surprised! A work of genius, no, but a captivating story of mystery, the paranormal, charming characters, steampunk England, wit and corsetry all in one. A guilty pleasure indeed! Onward to the next!
