With her oldest son and daughter-in-law going to Haiti for four months, Lucy and her husband Bill now have their grandson Patrick staying with them. While working for the newspaper, taking care of Patrick, making Patrick's Halloween costume, contributing to her organizations, plus her family how does Lucy have time to work on solving a murder of one of the towns folk.

A very enjoyable read in the Lucy Stone series by Leslie Meier. I have read other books by this author, but it's been a while and I felt as if I'd never left the setting of Tinker's Cove. This book was well written, the characters were interesting, and although I had my suspicions, the end was a surprise to me (which is a good thing!). I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys cozy mysteries, and even though it takes place over Halloween, the holiday doesn't overwhelm the story, the plot

A good, enjoyable cozy mystery. Lucy Stone is back in Tinker's Cove. I thought it was back on track and enjoyed being reacquainted with Tinker's Cove residents and activities. The ending was a bit abrupt (perhaps even rough) but if you enjoy cozies I think you will like this one.
