I thought that this was a suspense thriller but it was mostly just romance. It was actually really sweet. At one point with one of them needing rescuing and the other doing it beautifully it made me swoon.
God had a really tough backstory and it was probably the primary not romantic part.
There was WAY too much sex. I’d say that possibly more than half of the second half of the book was sex. Most of the rest was sexual innuendo and teasing people about sex.

Stops and starts is how I think of this book. I would pick it up, get into it, then fall out of it. There was just something about the flow that didn't quite gel.
The MCs were OK, the mystery was OK (and I was perfectly happy that is wasn't the full focus, so that's a plus). I think the author was still sorting out the characters and story. I believe this is one of her earlier works and I guess that's part of it. I'll definitely try her again with that in mind.

I had an amazing freaking (in my mind) review and Goodreads hates me, so I have to try to recreate it. I'm gonna go dramatically cry and when I get back, I'll put those brain cells to use again. Ok,Here we go...
