I have not seen the movie so I cannot vouch for it. The story itself is very engaging and beguiling. I love and hate Bella at the same time. She seems like a cross between a horror movie bimbo you want to see die and a tragic heartache that grabs your attention and will not let go. Jacob is a nice guy for a werewolf.. absolutely hilarious. Definitely a must-read.. an opinion from an old wisenheimer..

Well, I'm addicted. I'm really enjoying this series. It's a great book to get into during the Winter, to curl up with on the couch. I was taken back to those moments of being in love the first time. And of course, finding that one true love. It can happen, and then you marry him. I did. I think some people don't like the series, because how often does that happen when your 18. Truly, I had to wait until I was 34. But it can happen.

Thanks to Miranda for lending me this one. Just started, but I'm fresh off the movie. Rob P. was so dreamy. Can't wait to see what #2 holds...

Alrighty. A bit too long and meandering for my taste, but I reacted VERY strongly to "The End" and then the real ending made me very happy. The intensity of this series continues to amaze me - I simply cannot put these books down once I start. Dare I compare them to "heroin"? ...more
