5 big Super stars

This book is marketed as Fifty Shades of Grey meets Basic Instinct. I definitely see the 50 shades similarity but I didn’t see Basic Instinct so not sure if it compares to that. This is really a very good book and it’s a different story line then 50 shades so don’t think you are just reading the same book.

It is summer break from school so she decides to take Rebecca's job at an art gallery to see what information she can uncover. She is suddenly in a world where she is not sure exactly who she can trust or if she can trust anyone at all but she is intent on finding out the truth about what really happened to Rebecca.

But with any great story, there are twists and turns and HOT sex!

Sara meets Chris Merit, an artist who is rich, famous and successful. He is attracted to Sara from the first moment they meet in the gallery. She thinks they have more in common that either wants to admit. Both are damaged from their past but she is falling in love with him. Chris tells her that he isn’t looking for a happily ever after but he can’t stay away from Sara and they have a chemistry that is HOT! Chris has a dark side and has secrets that he prefers to leave in the past. He’s holding back. “There is so much I could show you, Sara, but I’m not ready for you to run away.”

He is vulnerable, sensitive and seems to be in uncharted territory with his feelings toward Sara.
Chris confronts her and shows her a taste of what the journals are really about, and why he thinks she will run when she finds out what he “likes.” Can they move past what Sara now knows is part of the demons haunting Chris?

Finding Rebecca is pushed to the side as you get caught up in Chris and Sara’a story. But then you’re faced with a cliffhanger that you didn’t expect! Is there someone they haven't thought about ready to stop Sara from finding out the truth about the world she has unknowingly entered into? The suspense, drama, and hot sex keeps you guessing. I cannot wait for this story to continue!!

This was my first book by Lisa Renne Jones and I loved it! It had suspense and love all interwined which made for an interesting read all together. The cliff hanger ending was a bit frustraing but since book two is already out I can't wait to start it! I read that this series is going to be made into a cable show so it should be interesting to finish the series and see how it's translated for TV. ...more
