I am OBSESSED, literally could not put this book down
Seriously underrated, Kade and Stacey are literally meant to be, my emotions were all over the place reading this and I can’t wait to finish the other two books in the series

UPDATE: listening to the audiobook now and I am obsessed, the chokehold that this series has me in 🥵

hmmm, i feel like at first i was really digging it and even towards the middle. I really liked the characters and the dynamic between Stacey and Kade. The spice was really good but i think that’s the only thing that got me through it lol i just didn’t really care for the central conflict tbh. I might read book 2 just out of curiosity on how things end but meh 🤷‍♀️

A lot of readers really liked this book, readers who I normally have a lot in common with, so I was really looking forward to reading it. But for me it just didn't get there.

There was very little plot, the bickering between the two main characters was dreadfully juvenile, and it felt like the author was trying to get every dark trigger ever created in the story, bouncing things off the wall to see what would stick.
