I've been a fan of Nicole Chung since the days of The Toast (rest in peace). This book is beautifully written. Nicole is compassionate and insightful. Her story of the family she was adopted into and the family she chose to create is simply beautiful.

I am a fan of Nicole Chung from The Toast (RIP) and Catapult. I knew some of her story and writing style before reading this book. I loved the short chapters and the way it progressed. It did feel like a long long form article. I loved Nicole's honesty and how she was honest that she didn't always know how she felt.
