What Members Thought
This is seriously a beautiful book. It is a perfect combination of character development and exciting plot; it is plot-heavy enough that there are major spoilers and a few surprising twists, but character-driven enough that all the characters have great arcs and feel very real and likable. While Maddie and Queenie both have dramatically heroic story lines, the book subtly shows that heroism doesn't always look or even feel heroic.
