I was so-so on The Hundred Thousand Kingdoms (and didn't read the other two books in that series), but this one was much more up my alley. I loved how three different strands related to each other and converged, the world-building is excellent, and I'm going to buy the sequel right this afternoon because I can't wait to find out what happens next. ...more
