Here's the funny thing--and I'm still ruminating on this book since the last time I read it I was very young and I actually enjoyed it quite a bit as an adult and certainly more than I thought I would--I wonder if this book, for all of its grittiness and displeasure with Organized Religion and some of its darker messaging, is actually supportive of faith in general, and the idea of a higher power.
