Jane Eyre is one of my favoruite classics. Featuring an intelligent, emotionally strong heroine long before such a thing was popular or accepted, the novel approaches Janes attempts to achieve a satisfactory life by her own merit and in her own eyes, never settling for something lesser.

I continually reread this, whenever I need to.
