The ONLY people I liked were Wink, Honey, Sarah, Michael, The Uncles, and Aunt Rachel. Literally the most side of side characters. And yes, that’s means I don’t get the hype about Wit. I just didn’t like the characters or the way this book was written and paced at all. Not my thing, but I definitely see how some people could enjoy it! Sad that I wasn’t one of them, but hey I tried.

╰┈➤ This book was so well written. It had the perfect mix of lyrical writing whilst mostly being engaging, relatable and easy to understand. you know, it's the middle of winter where i live, and i was missing summer. so i picked out this book in hopes of reminiscing.
HOWEVER.... it did not serve the vibe and nostalgia it was supposed to.
it wasn't bad, but it wasn't mesmerising either.
when the plot was first brought into light and i read about the game, i was sooo excited. but in the end it kind of fell short. i think it was because everything happened so fast.
i refuse to believe that all of this happened in a matter of 7 days. ...more
