NOTE: READ THE TW's BEFORE OPENING THE BOOK
This was a really well done story that takes on really hard topics in a fantasy setting. And at the end of the day, it was still a really good book. I typically don't like books that seem like they are trying too hard to make a statement, but the book is the statement and even has a really nice mystery at the center that is engaging to the reader.

This books is everything to me!!!!!!
It was written for me I know it.
For anyone who’s felt crazy, belittled, lost, and alone. Especially as a woman.
Bonus points if you’ve swam all your life and have a connection to water that every mention of it hits you deep.
