This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers. To view it, click here. Very suspenseful in the best way. This book got me back into reading for fun! Thoroughly enjoyed reading every page. I felt the writing style made it easy to read quickly while still understanding the plot/what was going on. The ending was fine. Left me questioning things. But I enjoy ambiguous endings. The type of ending and book that is a true psychological thriller and it’s up to the reader to determine if anyone should be condemned and if so who and why. Ta książka to był pierwszy thriller po jaki sięgnęłam w życiu i powiem jedno - znalazłam w niej miłość do tego gatunku. Od samego początku nie byłam w stanie jej odłożyć, co sprawiło, że przeczytałam ją w dwa dni. Krótkie rozdziały, kończą się zbyt ciekawie by od razu nie przeskoczyć do kolejnego. Autor idealnie płynie przez historię przez co czytanie to czysta przyjemność. "Pacjentka" ma mnóstwo ciekawostek psychologicznych, co jeszcze bardziej do mnie przemawia, więc jeśli również interesujesz ...more

Overall I really enjoyed this book and found it to be a real page-turner that would remain front of mind throughout the day. It was easy to visualise everything and was so engaging.

However I feel like the ending was quite rushed, and almost anti-climactic after waiting for answers for the entire story.
