This is the 6th book that I have read from the author Freida McFadden. Do I think this was one of her best books? No. It is not in my least favorite Freida books either. I found it to be very entertaining and had mysterious vibes. I read it in one sitting, because I wanted to see how this book was going to end. Thoughts -- update: lowered to 3⭐️
This was a rather enjoyable fast paced twisty easy - read thriller but Freida sweetie you're too predictable for me lol I don't get the jaw-dropping factor with her anymore and it honestly makes me wanna cry but at least she kept me turning the pages like time was running out 🤣 with that being said I wasn't bored rather wanting to find out if I was right😂 there was a specific scene towards the middle and tiny details that made me predict it the way I did but th ...more

Freida’s books are incredibly addictive and always such quick, easy reads. Personally, I really enjoyed this one it kept me hooked from start to finish. That said, I absolutely hated Blake. He was so frustratingly dumb and pathetic throughout the entire book

— this was such good fast paced read, i rly enjoyed it. it took me back to when i read the housemaid for the first time and it was magical
— the twists this book brought? FREIDA ATE THEM UP. i do have to say, i expected krista actually being whitney although i was skeptical about how it would work out AND SHE ATE IT UP LADIES AND GENTELMAN. she ate this book up.
