A team of research scientists have been illegally working on isolating the genome of the common ancestor of all mammalian life, with the goal of creating chimera creatures that can grow organs that can be harvested for human use.

The author of this book, Scott Sigler, is great at Sci-Fi. For the record, I never thought I'd be one that enjoyed Sci-fi, but I do. The characters are memorable, you either love them or hate them. Although it's a Sci-Fi story, it's not deep rooted with scientifical talk. Like his other book, Earthcore, I listened to this story via my IPod through Podiobooks.com.
