Buddy read with @mayflower! This was by far the best romantasy I have ever read. The writing style is beautiful, poetic and descriptive while still being entertaining, and the characters are literally perfection. Everything about this book was absolutely amazing, and I will recommend it forever.

This book is so well written. The chemistry between Iris and Roman was MAGICAL. Why didn't I read this book before? I DEFINITELY LOVE IT. It had everything I ever wanted be it enemies to lovers, slow burn romance or fantasy/Romantasy. Iris and Roman are so young, cute, mature and undoubtedly my favorite. I am so happy to finish this one. Although it has a cliffhanger at the end but the book was definitely 5 STARS for me. I love the bond that they share. this book has genuinely been hyped up so much and i was so excited to read this passionate, sweeping high fantasy - boy was I let down. it was more of a historical war fiction than a romantasy, which I think is a pretty common review I've seen, and the enemies to lovers is nothing more than watered down rivals-to-lovers.
