I love this book sm. The only thing I’m confused about is how is everyone obsessed with Warner when he’s like the “bad person” in this book? I don’t like Adam that much either but he’s better. At this point I think that Juliette should be an independent woman fighting for herself. But I know she’s gonna end up with Warner I just don’t see how??

I really enjoyed this! I’ll write a review at some point but here’s what I’ll say for now:
Warner is a psychopath and a walking red flag. I’m not sure if I read the same book as everyone who’s obsessing over him because I can not comprehend why 😭 everyone just says “he’s hot” but like he’s evil?!?! Trying to figure out if he gets better is half of the reason I am very motivated to read the whole series. Well, that and that it was a really good book lol

This book was super fast paced and an easy read so I got through it super fast! I love Juliette, and I already feel super attached to her. I can’t wait to read the rest of the series to see how her story continues!

i liked this book a lot more than the rest of the books in the series, but what I didn't like was how little emphasis was placed on Juliette's previous trauma from previously killing a child. That could have been so much more weighted, instead we just get some halfhearted attempt to create pity for Juliette.
Warner was a 10/10 in this book 🤩 he's unbreakable, untouchable - but even though i know there are books after this one, it annoyed me how little her love story with HIM was emphasized. Inst

This book was pretty good, but it just felt like it was filled with a lot of unnceccesary fluff. It has a good plot and good characters and it is definetly a good beginner book if you're looking to get into the big ones (fourth wing, acotar, etc.) I'm excited to see where it goes and I will definetly be reading the rest. Confused me a bit though because everyone seems to love Warner? Guess i'll keep reading! ...more
