OMG. WHAT WAS THAT? IT WAS SO DANG GOOD AND I WAS SCREAMING! I really wanted to dislike this book because I thought it was over hyped, but it deserves all the hype it got and more! Not to mention I finished chapters 55-68 (iykyk) in the middle of class trying so dang hard not to cry or scream and tried to close my jaw from unexpectedly dropping (which I evidently failed at). Let’s talk about the best part of this book.

Kai Pie. He is perfect. His hair his eyes. The way he says darling. I can’t.

The amount of giggling I did reading this book is unmatched. The banter had me kicking my feet. I probably looked insane reading this but I don’t care.

Let’s talk about Kitt. Surprisingly I don’t really This is going to be so disorganized so you’ve been warned.

Let’s talk about the best part of this book.

Let’s talk about Kitt. Surprisingly I don’t really hear people talking about Kitt a lot. Even though he was one of my favorite characters in the book. I’m super excited to see the relationship between Kitt and Kai in the second book that is going to be such a cool dynamic. I know Kai was meant to be the love interest in this book. But… Like Kitt is actually so cute. It could just be because I have a thing for blondies with green eyes. Cough * Aaron Warner* Cough. 👀

Next Paedyn. Paedyn was actually a good female main character. Shocker. Finally a main character who isn’t annoying as fvck. She actually had so much depth and shape to her character. I feel like it’s such a common thing nowadays for female lead characters to have three basic characteristics. They’re female, they can fight, and they don’t rely on a man. Like that’s great but can we add a little seasoning 🧂??? But no Pae had such a great backstory. Instead of yelling at her to get over grudge and just kiss Kai I was actually happy when she joined the resistance and wanted to make change. I was actually invested in her journey to avenge her father’s death. That’s saying something because I’m the girl who only pays attention to the romance and not so much the plot. ( I typically prefer to read fantasy books because the romance is more likely to be magical and high stakes and theirs more enemies to lovers Wich I love. ❤️) I absolutely fangirled over the scenes where they were pressing daggers to each other’s throats and there was plenty of those scenes😅. Overall this was the read of the year it was so good. I’m literally counting down the days until I can get my hands on reckless. I’m so excited. I recommend 💯percent. This was an easy six star read. If you’re looking for an enemies to lovers this is the best one I’ve read…. Ever. Also Kai Pie is so babygirl iykyk. Ok bye. 👋🏽🫠😝 ...more

It literally was 5 stars, but I had to take off .5 because the ending wasn't as good as I wanted it to be, and adena's whole thing (tryna be spoiler free over here) didn't affect me cuz I wasn't attached to her - thats what novellas are for yuna - but yeah I rlly liked this and am patiently waiting to get my allowance so I can buy and read the next ones before fearlessss. ...more

Al final de un libro lento pero con una buena historia, siempre me siento culpable por dejarle pocas estrellas , but here we go. Una de las mejores historias de “amor” en cuestión de construcción que he leído , cada pelea y acercamiento fue clave para llegar a lo que pae y kai fueron, cuando escuché que era slowburn pensé que en algún punto me hartaría ( en algunas partes kinda ) pero al final me encantó , LO QUE HACE QUE ME DE MÁS CORAJE CON EL PINCHE FINAL QUE PEDO😭😭😭😭😭😭😭.

I didn't really catch on to the romance in this book I just found it boring
the ending was great, I liked the plot, but it was pretty boring
