What the Fence Divides is book 1 in the Ponderosa Pistons Series. It sets up a high-stakes standoff between a Quarter horse ranch and a Montana motorcycle club — but the real tension lies in the slow-burn collision between Tia and Wrench.
Tia inherits a legacy she never asked for, and she’s fighting tooth and nail to keep it. She’s secretive, trauma-scarred, and fiercely independent — the kind of heroine who doesn’t just survive, she strategises.

The formatting? Chef’s kiss.
Elle J. Brae can write. The story itself has all the makings of something I’d devour — the setup is solid, the side characters are fun, and the world feels real.
But our MMC… oh boy.
